Time to Regroup for the Main Event!

Wow...You don't realize how busy you are 'till a milestone is reached - when you stop running, look around, and say "Where am I and how the hell did I get here?!"

In the last month I've...
- Prepared Web Content for the new phase of TotalGaming.Net
- Attended my first E3
- Took my Wife of One year to Swim with Dolphins in Florida
- Moved into the new Stardock Office
- Wrapped up Beta2
and
- Compiled a Long, LONG list of things we've committed to getting into the final game

Also, with a majority of the screens done, I've dedicated some time to get back into character design.  My first trip back down that road was for the new "Good" news robot.

Besides popping up to just tell you about new technologies, we're hoping to have the News Robot also give you the play by ply on interstellar events.  With some proper coding, and ALOT of unique writing, I think this aspect of the game will be enjoyable to read, not just another screen to click through.

Another item I've rediscovered is the Wacom Tablet that my parents got for me a few years back.  Luckily it still works, so I put some serious time into getting acquainted with it.

This is the final inked design I came up with for the Dreadlords.  If you go back in my journals, one of the first articles I wrote was about trying to come up with some thing good for these guys.  While cliché, and a bit on the 'Skeletor' side, I think the above design will work for the main villains of GC2.  I went for a hi-tech design that's completely made out of organic material, so hopefully that comes off correctly.  We'll see how it looks colored, and If it stays cool looking we'll make a 3d version for in-game.

That's it for now...any TotalGaming.Net users should be on the lookout for the new batch of  games coming out with the revamped token system.  Its amazing how good some of these independent games are..and I'll list my favorites when the games are announced officially (I think they want me to keep quiet until the official launch). All I can say is that a certain super-polished game with the initials BQ has sucked up way too much of my time

Oh poo....

Anyways, if you have TotalGaming.Net and 2 tokens to spare, BreakQuest is an AMAZING game -  a Super polished, very addicting, unique and original take on the classic Breakout formula.

I've been hooked ever since they sent the full version our way   Two Thumbs WAY Up!
